Individual Care & Support
C.A.R.S. celebrates the uniqueness of each individual we provide services to. The care that each individual receives will reflect that diversity. Supports will be tailored to the specific needs and wishes of the individual and their family.
Individual Rights & Independence
C.A.R.S. will strive to ensure that individuals who receive services have the same rights afforded all citizens of Canada. C.A.R.S. will support individuals to enable them to enjoy as much personal control as possible in all areas of their lives.
Residential Services
C.A.R.S. will provide residential services within the community where persons with developmental disabilities can live in a home atmosphere, develop skills and be as independent as the individual wants and is able to be.
Residential Support Services
C.A.R.S. will offer a variety of Residential Support Services to persons with developmental disabilities and their families.
Community Resources
C.A.R.S. will work with community agencies and related levels of government to realize maximum effectiveness and cooperation in meeting the needs of individuals.
Administration
C.A.R.S. will strive to deliver services in the most effective and efficient manner and will seek to foster and maintain a team approach in human resources.
Board Operations
C.A.R.S. will maintain a volunteer management board that governs planning and administration principles.
