Central Alberta Residence Society (CARS) is committed to creating, providing and maintaining the best possible supports for individuals (persons with developmental disabilities) and stakeholders (families, communities, and staff).
In 2010, CARS received accreditation through an international non-profit accreditor of health and human services known as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARS is committed to continuous improvement and acknowledges the need to provide ongoing and progressive services to the people they serve and to this end have created a strategic plan.
The Board of Directors developed these three overarching goals based on input from individuals receiving service, their families, guardians, employees, personnel and representatives of our funders. It is a reflection of what they told us was important to them.
